Stages and symptoms of the menopause

Menopause is a stage in a woman's life when she stops having her periods. It‘s a normal and natural part of a woman's life.

The years leading up to the last period, when women might be experiencing menopausal symptoms, are called the menopause transition.

Women can experience vastly different symptoms throughout the menopause, so it's important that treatment is tailored to reflect individual needs and changing symptoms.
