Sleep problems

Insomnia and sleep disturbances can be symptoms caused by the menopause. As different things such as stress or too much caffeine cause sleep disturbance, the solutions to resolving sleep problems can vary too.
Poor sleep

If night sweats (a common symptom of the menopause) are disrupting your sleep, treating them could help you sleep better. Speak to your healthcare professional about your sleep problems.

You should establish a calming routine before bedtime to reduce stress. Exercise during the day to decrease stress and help you get restful sleep at night. Wear loose, light clothing while sleeping to stay cool. A bedside fan is always handy!
